Turn down the heat. Turn up your sweater. Sweater Day is back! On February 9, we want Canadians to put on a sweater and lower their thermostats, to take action on climate change. Show your support by wearing the brightest one you own.
This year, we’ve enlisted a few helpers to get the word out (hint: What’s 80 years old, sweet, and always trying to get you into a sweater?)
Be sure to visit http://wwf.ca/takeaction/sweater_day/ to watch the video and sign up!
WEBreg (Internet Registration) is available for all programs being offered at the Downtown Community Centre. This fall, as a part of a pilot program, registrations for NA programs will be accepted at four community centres – including the Downtown Community Centre.
WEBreg online program registration service will allow you to view all programs we’re planning for the upcoming season including their descriptions, prices, and whether there are any spots in the class still available. There is also the convenience of being able to register at any city of Kitchener pool and/or facility that offers 50+ programs. For in-person registrations, we will accept payments by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and debit. You can also register from the comfort of your own home or wherever you have access to the Internet.
Check it out at www.eclass.kitchener.ca under Programs. Browse for courses at the Downtown, Kingsdale, ForestHeights and Williamsburg Community Centres.
