Believe it or not, we’ve decided it’s not warm enough for this event to happen on Family Day as planned. So we’ve rescheduled it in the hopes that we can get more folks out on when there isn’t an extreme cold warning happening.

What a delicious evening last year’s event was. We had over 13 different soups to try and a great line up of carved pumpkins lighting the night.
We are inviting neighbours to bring their carved pumpkins and a crock pot of soup to share on the night after Halloween (November 1st, at 6 pm). This will be a chance to meet neighbours, enjoy some yummy soup and see the interesting variety of carved pumpkins on display!
Please bring:
– your carved pumpkins (from Halloween), tea lights and matches
– soup to share
– your own bowls, cutlery and drinks (fyi a 6 space muffin pan works lovely to sample lots of soups)
– warm clothes and chairs
– plan to bring your pumpkin home, or ask a friend to take it home to compost if you need to leave early (we want to keep Brubacher Park clean)
