The year of 50 potlucks!

Here’s a chance to get to know your immediate neighbours better and strengthen our neighbourhood. Hold a potluck!

In 2014 we’re challenging our neighbourhood (yes, that includes you) to host 50 potlucks. It doesn’t matter if you call it a bbq, a shin dig, a ladies night or a block party, just be sure to invite some friends & neighbours…and maybe a few neighbours you haven’t met yet?

We’ll be keeping a tally, so after you’ve hosted, be sure to contact us and let us know!

Tips on holding a potluck

Write invitations and hand deliver them to the front doors of the neighbors you would like to invite. You don’t have to plan a big formal affair, but rather a “bring your own” type party with a few appetizers, just enough to mingle with some familiar faces.
