Level Up is a weekly program for tweens (and their families!) to learn about social justice and local civic action projects through simple, fun, and enlightening group-based play. This program was created and developed by a CFNA resident, making it a true community-grown initiative.
Level Up Covers the following topics:
- Self-awareness and self-care
- Growth mindset
- Empathy and privilege
- Conflict resolution
- Restorative justice
- Community development and leadership
Caregivers, parents and guardians play a crucial role in furthering their kid’s understanding of social justice and are therefore engaged between sessions through take home activities, dinnertime discussion prompts and field trips.
