The City of Kitchener is undertaking a project to develop a clear and fair process for approving development projects in existing residential neighbourhoods with a focus on the central and Vanier neighbourhoods (see map on project webpage). The study is called Residential Intensification in Established Neighbourhoods Study (RIENS).
